What can I expect from an intake/consultation?
During your first visit and intake, we will schedule you for two hours. This time consists of a one-hour intake and diagnosis followed by a one-hour treatment. Unless you indicate you only want to come for a diagnosis.
During the intake, we will discuss with you which treatment path is best: the basic naturopathic treatment of 2 hours, or a longer naturopathic treatment of 3/3.5 hours or longer for severe and chronic complaints. The basic naturopathic treatment is suitable for many. The longer naturopathic treatment is especially for severe and more chronic (long-term) complaints.
We will arrange with you whether you come every week, for example at the beginning of your treatment, every two weeks, or at longer intervals.
If you come to us with very severe and/or chronic complaints, we recommend coming for treatment weekly. For minor/easily treatable complaints, a few treatments may suffice.
Just like in Eastern medicine, we believe in prevention. This is in contrast to mainstream healthcare, which often only intervenes after symptoms arise.
Therefore, we encourage regular check-ups to keep your body in balance and optimize your health.
