Electro-acupuncture is a modern variation of acupuncture.
B.F.D. Biological Function Diagnostics (B.F.D.) or Electro-Acupuncture (E.A.P.) is the measurement of the skin resistance of acupuncture points. A disturbance in an organ, body part, or tissue will change the resistance of the corresponding acupuncture point. This measurement is important for gaining an understanding of the body's energetic condition.
With this testing method, the therapist measures the beginning and endpoints of the meridians on the hands and feet. The measuring equipment then provides a value that forms the basis for the bioresonance treatments in Utrechtse Heuvelrug and all other alternative treatments in our naturopathic practice.
In diagnosis and treatment, we utilize both Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Our experience is that both approaches strongly complement each other.
