Acupuncture
Acupuncture is derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Acupuncture consists of inserting stainless steel acupuncture needles into so-called acupuncture points on the body.
This valuable treatment method is applied in our naturopathic practice. In addition to TCM, we also use balance acupuncture, developed by Dr. Tan. This creates a de-blocking, stabilizing, and/or restorative effect. Puncturing acupuncture points is usually not painful and is done in a relaxed lying position. It is very effective for allergies, immune disorders, rheumatic complaints, intestinal issues, and pain.
Using acupuncture, we can provide the body with the right impulses to activate its self-healing capacity. In our clinic, we've noticed that acupuncture is a great addition when someone gets a bit stuck in their healing process.
We also offer standalone acupuncture treatments if needed.
This allows us to harmonize the energy balance (Qi) in meridians and organs, which can improve physical and mental complaints.
It is used for, among other things, pain complaints (such as back, neck, and headaches), stress and burnout, sleep problems, digestive issues, hormonal imbalance, fatigue, and support for chronic conditions.
